Vienna-based artist Sofie has her fingers in many pies, with roles that include: DJ (as an original Boiler Room member, as well as a host on NTS), model, singer/songwriter, and classically trained violist. She signed to Stones Throw back in 2019, and since has released a teasing drip of singles, including 3 which make up part of her debut album Cult Survivor, which is to be released in full on 26th June. The 3rd single from her upcoming debut is 'Guest' - a slow burner with squelchy synth bass, mellow synth pads, and melodic xylophone lines. Sofie's vocals have that classic American feel, much like that of Weyes Blood, but set against a more urban soundscape.
